Annual General Meeting 1900 8 Jul 10. I have produced a draft Financial Plan for 2011, which is now on the website under Miscellaneous Documents. Please read and raise any issues with me before the meeting. Of significance are the proposed increases in Cruiser Mooring, Hire of the Clubhouse and Suzy-Jo and Changi charges. Financial Statement 2009. As discussed at the last AGM, this year we will have a single AGM, rather than an AGM and an EGM, which is both a good excuse for a get together and a party, whilst at the same time doing the necessary administration of endorsing last year's (2009) Financial Statement and next year's (2011) Financial Plan. The 2009 Financial Statement is in Miscellaneous Documents on the Web Site, and the full document will be in the clubhouse from 4 May. If you have any questions on either document, please ask me asap; don't save it for the meeting! The date of the meeting will be promulgated soon.

Your membership key will give you access to all areas with the exception of the following:

CHANGI and SUZY JO - All keys required to hire both day boats are now on the respective key bunches for the craft including the fuel locker. Please ensure the petrol tanks are replenished after use and that you either send a cheque to the Treasurer or place in letterbox placed on the bar door within the Clubhouse immediately after use.

KAYAK & CANOE COMPOUND - The key to the compound is now held in the Canoe Locker above the booking out register.

Charges - In response to several queries, the charges for both craft are now posted in the documents section under "Group Documents". COMMODORES MESSAGE To all existing Members, be aware that you will see many new faces who are likely to need some help and advice on where things are, who to contact etc - please spare those extra few minutes to make them welcome.

The River and Clubhouse surrounds contain a number of natural hazards that demand your vigilance - when you do visit the the Club, please take the time to brief all members of your familiy and/or guests on the potential risks and ensure that children and pets are closely supervised.
