The Royal Air Force Watersports Centre (Danesfield) is a family-friendly facility occupying 200 metres of prime waterfront on the River Thames at Medmenham, Buckinghamshire.Membership of the the Centre is open to both serving and retired Service personnel.A wide range of waterborne activities are offered in this idyllic location for families, groups and individuals to enjoy. For Units, an in house ATI can help you make best use of the Centre in support of Force Development, Adventurous Training, Team Building and Post-Operational Deployment activities. Whilst the Royal Air Force Watersports Centre (Danesfield) provides a centre of excellence for rowing and canoeing, cruising and sailing are also offered. A wide range of non-powered craft are available to members at no extra charge. Additionally, members can hire the 6-seat motor launch's "Changi" or "Suzy-Jo", the Clubhouse is available for Section functions - these can be booked via the "Bookings" section on the website. Limited mooring and on-site storage is available for those with their own boats.

The Club enjoys an active calender with numerous courses, training days, competitions, meetings and social events throughout the season. We are also well equipped with changing and shower facilities, a kitchen, bar and social room, which can be booked by members through the Activities Member, for private parties or section functions.

The Royal Air Force Watersports Centre (Danesfield) is located just off the A4155 between Marlow and Henley.From Marlow, go straight on at the roundabout and the SAS Institute. Travel on down the hill past the Danesfield Hotel on the left. As the road bears right at the bottom of the hill, take the sharp left and proceed down the track for 500m where you will find the Royal Air Force Watersports Centre (Danesfield) on the right.
